In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Latin America showcased notable trends. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here's a detailed look at these apps' performance.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 457K by the end of December. The app experienced a consistent increase in weekly active users, reaching over 33M by mid-December, indicating robust user engagement.

Camera Location: Geotag Photos saw a significant fluctuation in weekly downloads, with numbers soaring to 163K in late October. The active user base steadily grew, peaking at around 124K in late December, reflecting increased app utilization.

Google Earth exhibited a gradual decline in weekly downloads, dropping from 107K at the start of the quarter to about 79K by December. However, weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a slight dip followed by recovery, ending the quarter at around 1.8M users.
